On this occasion, Salvo’s Periodical No. 12 was launched: a pill box containing a silver capsule and information leaflet.

After a presentation at St. Joost Academy in Den Bosch, Salvo got into an open dialogue about the theme of the upcoming issue: ‘the first photograph’. Sunday June 11th 2017, during the launch party of nr. 10 at Extrapool, Nijmegen, the Salvo-team signed copies by shooting the cover sheet. Anne Geene, here shown pointing her gun, turned out to be the sharpest shooter of all.

Knust is the name of the graphic department of the artist run organization Extrapool. They use riso machines to print books and posters. Some impressions from our stay:

Salvo exhibits 40 items. Numbers refer to their 7 publications, presented on a long table. The last image is the ‘actual size’ giraffe, photographed with reference post-it on the leg, known from last year’s show in the ‘Nutshuis’ in The Hague. Quickscan, Until May 8th.
